Mark 3:20-35 Sermon

Mar 23, 2025    Mitch Green

Today, we dive into a passage that challenges us to consider what it means to be part of God’s family. As Jesus' ministry grows, so do the crowds—and the accusations against Him. From being called crazy by His own family to being accused of working for Satan, Jesus faces opposition at every turn. But His response reveals a deeper truth: He has come not to work with the enemy, but to defeat him, rescue sinners, and establish God’s kingdom.

This passage reminds us that faith, not family ties, defines who belongs to God’s family. Even Jesus’ own brothers didn’t believe at first—but later, they became leaders in the early church.

So, who is in the family of God?

According to Jesus, it’s those who do the will of God.

Join us as we explore this powerful passage, wrestle with its implications, and respond in faith.
