The mission of Ascend Kids is to glorify God by making disciples!
What should our family expect?
At Ascend Bible Church, each and every Sunday, we prioritize the safety and well-being of your children during our gatherings through a thorough check-in process. After check-in, children will be guided to their respective classrooms tailored to their age groups:
In these age-appropriate classes, we work to connect kids to Christ through Gospel-centered conversation, worship, interactive Bible lessons & application activities, prayer, and playful fun. Our goal each week is to remind each child that God made them, loves them, sent His Son to save them, will never fail them, and that His Word can be trusted!
- Babies (Birth - 16 months): Our dedicated leaders in the Babies room love to show God's love by caring for the youngest children at Ascend! Your little one will be safe and loved during their time with us.
- Toddlers (16 months - 3 years): Toddlers enjoy play time, worship, a Bible-focused lesson, and games and activities alongside our dedicated Toddler leaders.
- Pre-K / K (4 years old through kindergarten): Our Pre-K/K class loves to learn more about God through worship, a video of the week's Bible story, learning, Bible verses, activities, and crafts alongside, all while building relationships with our Pre-K/K leaders.
- 1st - 4th Grade: Our 1st- through 4th-grade students engage in the lesson through reading, worship, and small group discussion alongside our dedicated elementary leaders.
- 5th - 6th Grade: 5th- and 6th-grade students attend the worship service with their parents to become familiar with being part of the larger church family. After worship, they're released with our 5th- and 6th-grade leaders for dedicated discussion and activities.
